Tempting Shiva

So as you might have noticed I am terrible at actually doing updates. This should soon change since I finally enabled the IPhone App for word press. So in theory the updates will be more frequent. To atone for some of my incompetence here is a shotgun post of everything notable that has been going on and some random thoughts.

First of all I still have no idea what to do with this blog. Originally it was going to contain some of my more random ideas and thoughts, and this might still happen, but it has proven difficult to write down this stuff before I get sick of it. New posting method might fix this, we shall see.

On to project updates!

Beer is coming along better than expected. The upcoming switch to all – grain from extract brewing is going to be expensive but most likely worthwhile as the end product will be much closer to what is desired and can be better customized. Plus I will be able to construct some new toys to make everything go better and faster. This project has some actual potential, but lets make sure it’s going to work before making any real decisions.

Photography: Camera is acquired and some pictures have been taken, however I need to really start taking the HDR tests and panoramic test images. Additionally it would be good to pick up the software to do this but even though the cost is fixed I still don’t really want to spend the money. Oh well, I’ll get over it.

Trip Planning: Tentative dates are June 6 to June 21. Locations to include most of the United States and possibly some of Canada. I am thinking about adding an additional week as in the entire trip I have 2 days of leeway. That could prove problematic. 

So that’s it for now, some more should be coming shortly, and at some point some images. When i can edit them down from 5 MB each.
